Mari Organization and TIVEN held 6 workshops in different areas in Qamishli – Raqqa – Deir ez-Zor as part of the “Weshaej” initiative – The social contract, with the participation of a number of civil and political activists. In addition to human rights for defenders and community leaders from various regions in north and east Syria during the period extending from 9/04/2021 to 10/19/2021.
This initiative aimed to include groups that haven’t been involved in the social contract dialogues and to reach principles and recommendations to be shared with the committee charged with reformulating the social contract in north and east Syria.
As a result of the constructive dialogues that took place, a number of principles and recommendations were reached that the participants believe should be included in the contract to be announced soon, and the following are the most important of these recommendations and principles
